4 Proven tips to increase your conversion rate

Create campaigns that generate many leads or sales is the goal of all the internet marketers. But to achieve this goal it's important to know how to get people to take action, how to convince the customer to "pull the trigger" and say yes.

And here are 4 tips that will help you with this task:

1. Define your audience

This may sound a bit obvious, but many people don't do it right. It's important that you know exactly who you're targeting. Understand the needs, desires and behavior of your audience so that you know what they are looking for and what will grab their attention. The main problem of most campaigns is that marketers say things that are not relevant to their visitors on the landing pages and ads, so people end up not completing the offers.

2. Split-testing

Another option is to ask your audience directly. Use polls and other interactive actions to ask them what they think about something or what are their preferences.

Sometimes, it's even worth to make a small investment on platforms like Facebook to ask questions to your audience and learn more about them.

3. Don't listen to yourself

Your personal desires and opinions are not relevant when you're marketing something. You have to consider exclusively the opinion of the audience you're trying to sell something to. Don't let your personal preferences affect the way you approach them or present the offers to them.

It's very common to see marketers thinking about their own needs and preferences when creating campaigns and forgetting about what the client wants.

4. Deliver value

This one is old, but people also forget about it quite often. It doesn't matter how great your offer is if your audience can't see that. You must show people how great you and your offer are, and the best way to do it is by delivering value, showing people that you're willing to help them.

But be careful, delivering value isn't the same as being annoying. Don't flood people with emails or endless texts. Just tell them what's necessary to gain trust and credibility.

These tricks are simple, but also very effective. Put this theory into practice and you will surely see better results with your campaigns.
